If you’ve been following the blog for a while, then you will know this sweet family very well by now. I met Carrie and Jeremy a little over a year ago, and knew instantly it was going to be a great year. They were so much fun to be around, and that was before their beautiful girl Willow was even born! Willow has had the sweetest spirit from day one, always smiling and dancing along to whatever song her parents are singing to her. When I showed up for Willow’s first birthday session, not only was she in her usually wonderful mood, but she was TALKING to me! Telling me about all the animals she saw, showing me her baby doll, and beat-boxing. Yes, you read that right, Carrie and Jeremy have successfully taught their one year old to beat-box. Coolest parents ever? I think YES! :0)
Carrie and Jeremy, thank you a million times over for sharing your sweet girl with me this past year, and for always making sure a get a few minutes to hold Willow after the session ;0) I’m thankful to know all three of you! Families like you are exactly why I love what I get to do every day; thanks for making my job so darn easy! I hope to see you guys again soon, and I can’t wait to see what new fun tricks Willow has learned by then.. if she can beat-box now, I can only imagine what you will have taught her in another few months! :0) Happy viewing, friends!

oh my heavens, i about died when I saw Willow’s 1st birthday outfit!! is there anything better than a baby in a tutu?? SO stinkin cute!!

and what first birthday session would be complete without a little cake?! 
We kept trying to get her attention to look up from the cake, and apparently her response is “not now, I’m busy!” ;0)
